Great information! As a designer I have clients who request VOIP systems but don't really understand how they work or what the advantages/ disadvatages are. This book would be a great resource for the in-house IT staff.

Thanks, Marlene, but here is how 6033 is currently programmed (using Quick Access, not standard SPM) from the left side...

DND
Group Call 770
Pickup General
SysAcc-OO Ring
SysAcc Voice-I
SysAcc Ring-I

Everything other button is either an autodial, group page or blank. I do not see a cover button anywhere.

6059 along with 6015, 6016, 6017 and 6018 are all programmed similarly with the General Pickup button in the same place.

Hello Kevin,

I hope this helps.

First make sure that the cover button on ext.6033 is a "Primary Cover Button", if it is make sure it is set to "Immediate Ring". If you click on the cover button and press *35 it will set it to "No Ring" which means the user at ext.6033 will only see the light next to the button flash but it will not ring, if you press *36, it will set it to "Delayed Ring", which means it will not start ringing until ext.6059 rings 3 times, pressing *37 will set it to ring immediately.

Hi, all. Nice to see the new website! We appreciate all of the work you folks have done for us regarding our Merlin Magix at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma.

I have a quick question. One of our extensions (6033) used to cover for a phone right next to it (6059), but now 6059 will not ring on it. I checked the programming via WinSPM and could not find any changes. Any suggestions?
